Our Story
With rapid space advances all over headlines, we paused to ask ourselves: will space advancement really just be limitless? Or are there any other barriers that would hinder that future exploration? That's when we realized a roadblock facing the industry: space debris. Our mission is to create a solution that will allow space exploration to continue for decades to come by mitigating the threat of space debris.
The space industry is already worth hundreds of billions of dollars and is projected to grow even further in the near future. SWEEP protects these expensive investments by helping ensure newly-deployed satellites and spacecraft can travel safely without colliding with space waste. This guides our vision of using electromagnetic, compression, and railgun technology to effectively dispose of space debris.
Our eventual goal is for our product to be used by government and private organizations who are interested in investing in the future of space. Throughout the development of SWEEP, we have prioritized leveraging diverse skill sets as we worked on SWEEP's various aspects. We value a balance between collaboration and individual work, and this has enabled us to efficiently manage different stages of the innovation journey.
